Clients Value Responsiveness

Responsiveness is the factor most important to high net worth individuals when selecting financial advisors.

Nearly 90% of individuals say they want to work with advisors who are readily available and respond promptly to their inquiries. An above-average record of investment performance also is a plus for advisors, the affluent say.

Also valued by affluent individuals are advisors who offer a wide range of products and services (74%), advisors who work with multiple financial services providers (68%) and advisors who are local (68%).

Less desired by the affluent are advisors who offer low fees (46%) and firms that are part of a nationwide system of offices (34%).
